DIVE INTO A PARADISE OF UNDERWATER WONDERS IN TIOMAN

Tioman Island, situated off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, is a mesmerizing destination for nature lovers and diving enthusiasts. The island boasts beautiful beaches and enchanting underwater landscapes. Its warm, pristine waters are excellent for scuba diving, making it one of the top diving destinations in Malaysia.

The island’s surrounding waters are inhabited by various species, including the sea snakes, blacktip reef sharks, and electric rays. Although venomous, sea snakes are generally not aggressive towards humans and can be seen gliding gently in the shallows. The blacktip reef sharks are a common sight in Tioman’s waters. Meanwhile, the electric ray, known for stunning its victims with electric shocks, can be found taking shelter in the sandy seabed.

Furthermore, the island has over 25 dive sites to explore. Dive the shallow, calm waters of Pirate Reef. Wander among the stunning granite and lush coral formations at Chebeh. And even embark on an adventure exploring the wrecks at KM Sipadan or Sawadee Wrecks. If you’d like to check out an abundance of hard and soft corals, head to Malang Rock (Coral Island).

Travellers seeking an unforgettable scuba diving experience can book a stay at Berjaya Tioman Resort, which offers the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. Discover dive packages or courses at Berjaya Tioman Resort here.
