6. THE ZHONGSAN BUILDING
This newly restored 1950’s building in the centre of Kuala Lumpur is now an arts and research hub. It is located near Petaling Street and Bukit Bintang, housing specialty stores run by a multi-talented community of artisans, artists, designers, and musicians. 7. KL BIRD PARK
Malaysia is a haven for eco-tourism. Even right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, you can surround yourself with nature. 8. BATU CAVES
Batu Caves is an important religious site and one of the must-visit attractions in Malaysia. It consists of several caves in a limestone hill that is said to be around 400 million years old. The temple complex is well-known for its rainbow stairs and a massive Lord Murugan statue. To reach the main cave, you have to climb a steep flight of 272 steps while evading troops of cheeky monkeys.
